“Piece of paradise”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

It costs 50p each to access the area, but to be honest, I had visited other 'glens' and 'waterfalls' that were free of charge in local areas and we're very run down and could have seriously done with a clean up in comparison (carpets in the middle of the river, plastic bottles everywhere etc), so paying 50p was more than worth it for the place to be kept tidy and clean.
The glen is very beautiful, ideal for photo takers like myself. We also had a piece of fruit each and watched the running water for a while, it was absolutely bliss. For the 50p, you can also walk along the riverside which is also beautiful and scenic, again, very ideal for photographers.
Would visit again :)

great place, very peaceful and the waters are lovely! relaxing place to be, there is a pay box at the gate and CCTV, even if there wasn't you should still pay its more than worth it!

“Ideal for Photographers”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

This was a pilgrimage in a sense to capture the Fairy Glen Gorge on digital cameras to replace the old slide film stock. It's a bit of an up and down walk with lots of tricky stone steps to get down to the river side to photograph the classic viewpoint but it's worth the effort. A nominal charge of £1 to park and 50p per person will not break the bank but I'm not sure if non-photographers will appreciate what they find.

“Fairy Glenn”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

We went to fairy glen on a nice sunny day, it was a proper little adventure. The views were amazing, a bit dodgey getting down to it but all adds to the excitement. I thought it was great- loved it! Don't think I would take my kids there however as a bit dangerous with cliff edge's etc

“Tranquil”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Have been here many times, its a hidden gem. We spent an afternoon with the kids in an inflatable boat and took a pic nic. You have to pay, just put money in a box and walk through, if you don't a little man will chase you down the track, we only had a ten pound note and it was only a couple of quid to get in, so we just walked through, we liked it because there was no people there.
