A lovely stroll next to the river and just up the road from the main town is the cleanest and friendliest B&B I have stayed in for a long time.
We were welcomed in with a fresh pot of tea and some home made cake to this delightful house that has been redecorated to a high standard, my en-suite looked like I was the first person to ever use it, as did everything else in my room.
The owners were lovely - helpful and friendly without being 'in your face'.
Like the other local B&Bs it is on the 'main' road but this did not prove to be a problem and my sleep was comfortable and quiet, and unlike many of the other places in town there was on site (off street) parking.
Breakfast was also great and filled us up for most of the day.
Excellent value for money and I look forward to staying there again.

Beautifully decorated without being fussy. Wonderful hospitable host and hostess. Food was plentiful and cooked to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of parking. Wonderful scenic setting, loved it all. Wish they all could have been half as good. during our trip around the UK.

Room Tip: the front of the house overlooking the river

Wonderful Guest House. The best we’ve ever stayed in!.. Beautiful décor. Everything immaculate and to a high standard, - even the garden! The breakfast was cooked to perfection. Friendly landlord. Beautiful location with forestry to the rear and river opposite. Nice little walk into the main street. Loved Betws-y-coed and hope to return. This B & B highly recommended!

We stayed here for one Saturday night in June. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived two hours early but were still able to check-in and were offered a cup of tea. We had the two double bedrooms at the front of the property. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. We even had chocolate waiting for us on the beds. The showers were lovely, tea and coffee making in the rooms and glasses and a corkscrew if we wanted to bring back a bottle of wine. The breakfast was fabulous. Two of us are vegetarians and this was no problem we both had a full cooked breakfast, extra toast, cereal and coffee. The proprietors Jen and Eddie were very welcoming and the private off road car park was great as parking can be a problem in Betws-y-Coed. We had a very quiet nights sleep with Oakfield being an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of the village accessed via a wide pavement. We will be going back and strongly recommend this fantastic bed & breakfast!

This B&B was lovely from the moment I called to enquire about rooms. Incredibly friendly and helpful hosts who even offered us a pot of tea and a slice of gorgeous cake when we arrived off the hill for check-in.

I was in a single room which had plenty of space and the tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits were a lovely touch. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was lovely with a very nice shower.

Breakfast was delicious (definitely have the bacon, it was so thick and very tasty!) with a good selection of hot and cold items plus great coffee.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and I can't wait to go back and show other people how lovely it is.

Thanks so much!

This personal and cosy hotel has recently been completely refurbished and was very smart throughout. The bedrooms were comfortable with our two teenagers in an adjoining room that gave us a little privacy. Both bedrooms had TV/DVD and were well stocked with complementary tea, coffee, biscuits and bottles of Welsh spring water. The bathroom was also very smart with a rain forest style shower head. The owners were very pleasant and helpful with all our enquiries and the complementary coffee/tea and delicious home made cake when we came in after a day on the mountains was most appreciated. We enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. The hotel has ample parking and is only 10 mins walk into Betws Y Coed village centre. They don't have a bar but thoughtfully provided wine glasses and a corkscrew in your bedroom should you want to bring in your own. All in all, pretty faultless and would definitely recommend.

Stayed at Oakfield House for one night on 21st May 2011. After climbing Snowden in appalling conditions we needed somewhere clean and comfortable, well Oakfield House was that and more. Jen and Eddie are so welcoming and everything about their bed & breakfast is superb from the decor, beds, cleanliness, breakfast etc etc. We will without doubt recommend to anybody we know who is visiting that part of the UK and will without hesitation stay there again. This lovely couple deserve everything they achieve.

Room Tip: Fantastic family room.
