Just spent three days at Garth Dderwen guest house, excellent food, hosts very comfortable bed all you could ask for from a long week-end away. Will be revisiting when in the area again. The house is situate just opposite the bridge leading to a caravan park and walking area ,could not be better located. All amenities to hand but a very quiet room so slept very well.

Room Tip: we had the en suite

Warm welcome from Francis and Morris. Twin room was well appointed. The whole building has an antique - back in time feel about it, which is quaint if not a bit cluttered by today's minimalist standards. Breakfast was good and enough to satisfy until lunch. Shed for bikes, and hose to wash them down. Plenty of places within walking distance to eat n drink. Close enough to ride to the Marin and Dolen trails. Thank you both for a pleasant stay.

After having just returned from a two night walking break we felt we must let people know about this beautiful little guest house which may sometimes get overlooked as it is not on the main road. The house is literally a minutes walk from the main road but in our opinion preferable as it is muck quieter and easy to park. The house itself is beautiful and has retained all of it's original charm. The owners were welcoming and extremely helpful whilst not intrusive at all. The breakfast was great and you could have as much or as little as you choose as they give you an order form the night before. We were loaned some great local maps and highly recommend the walk behind the B&B which leads to the most spectacular lake. We will most certainly be returning as soon as we can.

We recently used this B&B for a mountain biking club weekend, and really enjoyed our stay. It's in a perfect location, with easy walking distance to the local restaurants and bars as well as easy access to trails (Marin & Penmachno). The B&B has some onsite limited parking, though lots of free road parking nearby. There's also a bike shed for overnight storage. Rooms are comfy, with some nice touches, with a good breakfast laid on each morning, all for a reasonable price. A highly recommended place to stay.

It was our first stop on our honeymoon...the owners were so welcome and helpful ... really enjoyed every minute there. B&B was good, bed was comfortable and clean rooms. Shower was good size. A sweet comfortable B&B and central to go round North Wales. Thank you :)

Beautiful Welsh Victorian B and B, set in a lovely spot in the heart of Betws-y-Coed. It was a perfect base for our mountain walks in Snowdonia. It is spotlessly clean, comfy bed and fluffy towels, with all the extras; free wifi, hairdryer, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and nice biscuits. Our sunny room (no:2) was pleasantly furnished and had duel aspect, plentiful storage and a good en-suite with shower. Hosts were lovely, very helpful and welcoming, Morris is in a Welsh Male Voice Choir and invited us to their performance at a local pub on the evening we arrived......fabulous performance, we loved it.. Great breakfast set us up for our day in the mountains.
Good value and highly recommended.

I spent a very quiet and peaceful night at this lovely guest house. It was spotlessly clean and
the breakfast was very tasty. It's away from the main road so there is no traffic noise but everything in Betws y Coed and the surrounding area are easily accessible. definitely worth a stay and it's run by a lovely WELSH couple!
