We've stayed somewhere else and stumbled upon this place while searching for food.
Because of that we can only speak for the restaurant experience.
In comparison to other restaurants in the area we have tried we would definitely say the staff is more friendly and professional. We also liked the restaurant's bright furniture and decor which was compensating for the lack of sunshine outside (Wales, eh..).
The food (steak&ale pie and lasagne with side salads) was looking and smelling very appetizing (nicely dressed with some veggies), served quickly (although there was only a handful of customers at the time) and was proper hot - as it should be after being exposed to bad weather on a scramble up Tryfan. The chips were phenomenal - although thick cut they were crispy, not too fatty, piping hot and made with no reject potatoes, as it sometimes happens.
