Description: Conwy Falls Cafe is a beautiful purpose-built cafe set in 9 1/2 acres of SSSI native forest, with the spectacular back drop of the waterfall running through the River Conwy in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Designed in the 30s by Clough Williams-Ellis, the cafe is a classic example of his design, and with its excellent car parking space, provides a perfect stop off at the gateway to Snowdonia.

“Easy going and laid back dinner on Fri/Sat”

We stopped by for some of their oven baked pizzas. Very good. Beautiful location. Do not expect table cloths and fine dinning-it is a café. But a lovely one with a great deck and wonderful fell to it.
Pizza were good, garlic bread even better and they had several specials on the menu board that would have been great too. Lovely, family and dog friendly and easy going! Walks and a deck too. We will definitely return.

“Just Lovely and Dog Friendly”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

Fabulous views sat outside in the sun. Crab salad and fabulous Welsh rarebit and homemade coleslaw. Took brownies for later and superb. Lots of parking to the front and would be fabulous in winter with the coal burner. Dogs allowed inside also. 10/10

“Homely, relaxed and friendly atmosphere in beautiful location”
Reviewed July 19, 2014

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly. Lots of unusual choices with interesting vege choices. All fresh ingredients, tasty and freshly cooked. Cakes and scones massive. Home made lemonade delicious. Decking at back of cafe so can sit out. Books and newspapers available. Walks down to the falls uneven and steep but worth doing and good value at £1 admission.

“Lovely lunches at Conwy Falls; plenty of gluten-free and/ or veggie options. Child-friendly. Dog-friendly.”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

Delightful cafe on A5 at the junction with B4406 (Penmachno) road . Four of us rolled up for a light lunch on a summer Sunday. Our varied tastes all well catered for. We ordered one all-day big breakfast (huge, and there is a veg. option if wanted), one feta and bacon salad (un-dressed - home-made dressings if wanted are served separately), one Welsh rarebit (glorious) with poached egg and salad, and one home-made burger (also huge) served with really good chips. Everything cooked to order and all perfect.

Special accolade from me for a good choice of gluten-free meals (or meals that can be made gluten-free if needed); So nice to see the G-F options actually specified on the menu - much, much better than having to rely on choosing sensibly but ultimately having to hope for the best as regards any non-obvious ingredients.

Friendly owners, pleasant first-floor interior (nice and quiet), newspapers provided as well as games and toys. Some outdoor seating on decking at the rear. Dogs allowed both inside and out.

Ground-floor toilets are clean but a bit basic. Car park getting a bit full by early afternoon.

£1 charge for access down to Conwy Falls (not visible from the cafe) and various forest trails.

“Brilliant food, friendly staff”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

We stopped here for some breakfast before our Go Below Adventure. The staff were friendly, the service efficient, and the food was brilliant - Eggs Benedict was the best I have ever had - proper ham, lots of it, very tasty. The kids breakfasts went down a treat and they wanted to come back for tea as well!
