“Busy bar on busy road”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

very average food. fine if not that fussy and hungry ! There are much nicer places to eat in the village but this one seems to attract the crowds. Service quick and OK average value for money.

“Excellent food and service..”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

Stopped off for a drink whilst on a day out to Betwys. Food being brought out looked absolutely gorgeous so decided on calling off later for a bite to eat. It was extremely busy and the outside tables were all taken so thought it may be long wait, however, couldn't believe how quickly our meals arrived. Quality of all 3 meals were fantastic especially for the price, amazing value, would definitely recommend.

“Excellent Value”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

Plenty of parking for this tourist spot at the rear of the pub . The food choice is great for all , but the fish and chips are mind blowing crispy beer battered haddock done on site , a must for all fish lovers .

“Great meal after the 3 Peaks”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

A group of 19 of us ate here on 14 July after completing the 3 Peaks Challenge, food was reasonably priced, service was good as was the atmosphere. Outside seating looked inviting, but the midges were out in force!

Try the 450g Rump Steak, you won't be dissapointed.

“Lively spot for outdoor eats & drinks”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

Visited here every day of our 5 day holiday in Betws-y-coed, for dinner or just a drink. Great friendly atmosphere with people off all ages. There are large screen TV's inside if you want to catch up with the sport - we watched the whole Wimbledon Final here. Would recommend the local 'Purple Moose' beer on tap here. If you're going to eat here, the spag bol was great, you could tell the quality of the meat, locally sourced I think. It's generally good pub food, great after a hard day's walking, and it's attractively priced with good sized portions.
