Good food, quick service even on a busy saturday night. Good service form one of the staff -a guy in a green polo shirt, longer blond hair.

After eating in our hotel bar one night we wanted to venture out to one of the other hotel restaurants. We'd read online that the Stables Bistro did traditional Welsh food - well, I wouldn't describe it as that. It was your standard British pub selection. The food service was very quick and very tastey. The prices were very fair (we paid £20 for two main meals) and I was really happy with my choice (Chicken Thai Green Curry Hot!). I'd definitely recommend that you give this place a try.

Out for the day on Mothering Sunday. Found a table and ordered food and drinks. £1.85 for a pot of tea. Food arrived quick and was very good. Nice and hot. Plenty of choice plus specials. Lots of outside seating for those with dogs. Car parking is free after 6pm. Didn't feel ripped off as you do in places like this. Not fine dinning but doesn't pretend to be. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Good honest pub grub - great price, quick service. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It can get a bit noisy and bit busy

Whilst Betwys Y Coed has a lot of places to eat, this is one of the few less formal places. We have eaten here several times, and have always found it to be good food.

We went again this week, on a busy Saturday night. We found a table and both ordered the chicken tikka masala curry with rice and chips. The meal was lovely - a creamy chicken curry with real chips and good rice. A bargain at around £9.

The stables is always popular with walkers and mountain bikers as it is a great place to just drop in for a drink and some really good food at very reasonable prices. Definitely recommended for an informal drink and some good food if you are in the area.
