We were in Betws-y-coed in late July 2012. We had the pleasure of staying with Paul and Janette. They are lovely people and have a beautiful home. Everything was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room was very tranquil. They made us feel very welcome and were very hospitable. They even took pictures with us the morning of our departure.

All in all it was one of the best places we stayed on our entire trip. The hosts were lovely, the home was beautiful and the setting in Snowdonia was breathtaking.

I cannot recommend Dolweunydd enough.

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of July. Janette and Paul were perfect hosts, friendly and helpful. Paul's breakfasts were the best we've ever had. Rooms were clean and comfortable, parking wasn't a problem either. All in all a most enjoyable experience. Thanks.

I stayed at the Dolweunydd B&B 16th - 19th August 2012 and was very impressed. From the outside of the house it looked well maintained, so my expectations were high that the rooms and facilities would be up to scratch and happy to report it was. On checking in Janette make us a nice hot cup of tea and a provided a welcome plate of biscuits which was a nice touch. I booked a single room and my friends a double. My room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfy. The breakfast menu offered a good choice of cooked breakfast and was freshly made to order by Cath's partner Paul. Although I was there for a hiking weekend and supposed to be forgetting about work I did make use of their free WiFi which was handy. Generally speaking I am not a fan of B&B's as they can be a mixed bag but rest assured Janette and Paule will make you very welcome and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is a pleasant one.

We stayed here for three nights in the cottage room (9th - 12th) and couldn't of asked for a better break away. The room was very clean, comfortable and had all the facilities needed for a short break. Paul and Janette were perfect hosts, they made us feel very welcome from as soon as we arrived until it was (unfortunately) time to leave giving a warm welcome every day. The breakfast was superb with lots of choice, the salmon and scrambled eggs is very hard to beat.
We had such an amazing experience and will very much be looking to stay at Dolweunydd again.
Thank you Paul and Janette for such a warm, friendly and comfortable stay.

We stayed here for two nights (August 4th and 5th) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed by Janette, we were made to feel comfortable and at ease - she even seemed to appreciate my husband's 'unique' sense of humour.
Our room was clean and very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious each morning and we loved the atmosphere and decor in the dining room as well as the rest of the house.
Both Janette and Paul were friendly throughout our stay, being interested in our plans, discussing the area and offering local knowledge.
We're really looking forward to planning another visit - hopefully sooner rather than later - and thinking of booking the cottage room next time.

Thank you again, Janette and Paul,
from Janet and David Jones
