“Looking for a chinese restaurant in north Wales? Try this one.”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

We visited the Dragon restaurant yesterday for my daughters birthday. The food was excellent and the service was great. We had a lovely meal which suited both the vegetarian and the meal eaters. The vegetarian said the vegetable curry was delicious. We had the dim sum platter which was excellent value, and a variety of dishes from the main menu. All were delicious but the lemon and honey chicken was the standout dish for most of us. Thank you for a lovely meal. It was well worth the money. Great service too. My daughter really enjoyed her birthday meal

“HOT Stuff”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

Had a really nice meal here, with Draft beer on tap, who could want more. The place is really old and has a great feel to it, very comfortable and staff were very accommodating.

“Good chinese”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

6 of us ate here and apart from the satay lamb starter (avoid that) we all enjoyed what we chose, Friendly staff and service was quite good as it was busy on the night we went, prices were reasonable too.

“Crouching Tiger, Disappointing Dragon”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

Apart from the salt and pepper tofu, which actually came by mistake (we'd ordered the Szechuan version), the food was decidedly average. The sauce on the crispy chilli bean sprouts was too sweet and 'gloopy'. The service wasn't up to much either. There was a large group of ten or more people that seemed to take up pretty much all of the staff's attention. Understandable perhaps but not really a valid reason for just leaving us sitting there without our (ordered) drinks for at least 20 minutes. I'm generally pretty patient and easy to please but this place was a disappointment.
