We arrived at the apartment to find it was situated in beautiful grounds and the accommodation exceeded our expectations, being wonderfully spacious, spotless and very modern. The village is charming and the countryside around is stunning . There are lots of things to do in the area, including castles, outdoor activities,Portmeirion and of course beautiful walks. Tracy and Michael were really friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay and have recommended it to our friends .

We stayed with Tracey & Michael in their wonderful apartment in Coed-y-Celyn and we can only say great things about our stay. The apartment itself is great, we were in the famlily one and is really the house of my dreams, spacious, cosy, very clean and with every single detail you my need in your holidays...even with walking books, restaurant menu´s, etc... The surrounding around the house is quiet and spacious, we even had the sheps around the fields...
And Tracey & Michael were there for us to advice us in all our needs and doubts.
I wish you were closer to Barcelona !!! I would definitely be one of your frequent guest
Thank you for you kindness.

We recently enjoyed a great week in North Wales staying at the Coed-y-Celyn Hall apartments. The apartments were immaculate, well appointed and tastefully decorated. Tracy and Michael the owners were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They provided groceries on arrival at cost only and were on site and on hand whenever needed. There is good parking, grounds, and a terraced garden to relax in. Betws-y-Coed is very close but the walk is a little tricky with no footpath on the road. We popped in with the car. We ate mainly via catering for ourselves but had a couple of good meals locally and enjoyed experiences such as the Male Voice Choir appearing in the local church. Details of these and other local attractions were all provided by our hosts. We also had extremely peaceful and comfortable nights in the comfortable bed.

We spent 5 nights in August in one of Tracy and Michael's apartments in the gorgeous Coed-y-Celyn Hall. Quiet, beautiful surroundings, modern accommodation, tastefully decorated, everything you could possibly need was there, and if it was not, you only needed to ask Michael and Tracy, who live in the Hall (you need to bring your own towels, but you can hire them too). They very kindly lend us a day rucksack as I had forgotten to bring one out of the 2 we needed, and an umbrella (could not expect the weather to be perfect as well!). Their local knowledge was excellent, and I think they are keen cyclists, so good place to stay if you are planning to come with your bikes. We did not eat out as we had everything we needed in the kitchen after a long day walking in the mountains, but there are plenty of restaurants in Coed-y-Celyn. Although it is at walking distance, we would not recommend walking in the dark as poor visibility and no real space for pedestrians on the road, would not try even with a torch. The location was also superb as it was central to Snowdonia National Park and very well communicated. Would love to stay in these apartments again...if Wales was not so far away from Norfolk! And there is so much to see besides walking up the mountains! Definitely recommended!

We last visited the area 16 years ago and were in a trailer tent. Therefore, to revisit and stay at wonderful Coed-y-Celn was an absolute delight. We were really pleased with the cleanliness of the apartment and it was so well equiped and had lovely little touches such as the binoculars and a book on birds to make the most of the views of the lovely gardens. There is also an excellent information pack provided. Michael and Tracey were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They are very knowedgable about the area which they obviously love and are prepared to pass on this knowledge when asked. Our recommendation can be summed up by the fact - 'that we will return!'

Room Tip: We were in Apartment 4 which is on the first floor and has a direct view from the bed of the monkey...

We have stayed here for the last 5 years and each time we enjoy it more and more. The location is nice and peaceful just a short walk from the village centre.

Michael and Tracey are the perfect hosts, extremely knowledgable about the area and very friendly.

We look forward to our next stay when we can spend another week in tranquil surroundings and recharge our batteries.
