The food was very good with plenty of room. service was excellent with very pleasant staff. As with most restaurants in Betws Y Coed
a short walk necessary as no car parking.

“Delicious meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2014

We were very impressed by Bistro Betws y coed! The food was absolutely delicious (we would recommend the pigeon and of course the Welsh Lamb dishes! Desserts were also very nice.) The service was good, although we did have to fess up when the desserts were missed off our bill - the service & food was so good we felt we had to tell them! Free appetisers, welsh cakes and fudge were also a very nice touch. We would definitely return and recommend - just make sure you ring ahead as we were told we'd have to be there within 10 minutes to get a table!!

“Awesome food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2014 via mobile

Ate here twice and was very impressed with the presentation and quality of the food. We are foodies to a certain degree and a bit one eyed with meat coming from New Zealand. But have to say the lamb was up there with the best we have had.
We tried 4 of the starters over the 2 nights which didn't disappoint.
Plan ahead and book you won't be disappointed.

“Gem of a bistro”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2014

We chanced upon this place and were delighted by the menu, the variety and quality of the food. Really outstanding. I had the goats cheese starter and duck main course which were both outstanding. The mash and dressing for the duck course were unexpected and quite delicious. My wife had the vegetarian pancake despite neither of us being vegetarians and again it was quite outstanding. The waitress commented that it was a popular choice for everyone. We both agreed that this was surely one of the best menus for taste quality and selection we have ever experienced.

“Bistro Welsh Style”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2014

Excellent choice of mainly local produce, very well presented, not to mention extremely tasty. Loved the fact that the sweet menu comes on a very large board. Staff were very friendly, efficient and informative. Don't forget to choose a cushion (varying thicknesses) from the baskets to place on your wooden chair. We don't want you having a numb bum.
