“Wonderful people, lovely place- would definitely stay here again”
Reviewed April 25, 2011

My husband booked this lovely B&B after a search on trip advisor- Mary Ann was kind enough to offer a discount on the family room- as we have a toddler, the extra bed in Room 5 was very useful!
We were really pleased with everything, and really cannot fault anything at all about this place!
David and Mary-Ann were the epitome of perfect hosts- friendly, down-to-earth and extremely helpful by nature, yet highly professional, efficient and meticulous in their service provision.
Despite being in the family way, Mary-Ann was always so energetic and hard-working, and very generous, from offering helpful tips and advice about out trip to loaning us her kiddies backpack to use for our hiking attempt! And we really enjoyed David's witty banter- made us feel very comfortable indeed and we really appreciated his efforts to find us a halal restaurant!
The room was spotless, and the bathroom fittings always gleaming- the shower was great! And the breakfast was always cooked to perfection- Something to look forward to every morning!
This place was also an ideal location for short rambles around Betsy, especially the lovely walk along the stream just across the road- DONT attempt it with a pram however! (We concluded that David and Mary-Ann are just super-human to have been doing it regularly with their little boy!) It was also an ideal base for the various day trips we made in different directions- from the beaches of Llandudno and Conwy in the north, to the Snowdonia national park in the south.
Dont miss the Swallow falls nearby- definitely a sight worth seeing!

All in all, an extremely enjoyable trip thanks to staying at this lovely little place!

Stayed here for 3 nights in room 3. Mary Ann & David are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The room & en-suite are clean & bright, the shower is excellent. The cooked breakfasts are great and set you up nicely for the day. Parking is on the main road but don't let this put you off as it is well lit at night and the area outside the B&B is marked for parking, I parked my motorbike there and had no problems.
A 5 min stroll takes you down into Betsy where you will find plenty of places to eat.
Will definetly stay here again next time we are in area.

We stayed here for a long weekend in October and we simply couldn't fault it. It's only a short walk away from town so the location is perfect. The whole place was spotless, the room a good size and the bed very comfortable. After a hard days walking it was exactly what we needed! Breakfast was good and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. We'll be going back!
