The restaurant staff were pleasant, however when we asked where we should sit, offered a table for two, however other couples arriving later that evening were given larger window tables. The table had no place mats or side plates and felt more a cafe experience than restaurant. I ordered a lamb dish which was advertised as served on a bed of barley and vegetables, there was a hint of a diced carrot nothing else. The bread & butter pudding served with vanilla custard, was presented on slate, a bit tricky to pour custard on a flat surface. I like a well presented dish, but custard is best served in a dish, it just makes more sense!
