To be able to go at our own pace without being guided in a group was a pleasant experience. Although safe (if you look out for the low roof in places) it was not overly sanitised, so whilst it wasn't totally how it would have been, you get a much better feel than in some similar attractions. We knew the temperature would be a lot lower inside, so brought a coat, but we weren't warned about the lower temperature when we bought our ticket. Maybe the chap in the shop knew we had coats in our non-see-through bag?! Anyway, it was a minor issue. It would be a shame to rush through because you felt cold. This is probably stating the obvious, but it is damp underground, both underfoot and drips from above your head.
I did feel it was a little pricey, but it seems to be the way costs of attractions are going in N Wales.
Only limited access for wheelchair users, which is a shame.
