When we turned up at the Mine, we were a bit confused on where we should be going and where the mine was. After finding the sign I followed the track up to the office which was very good and well recieved. After purchasing our tickets we entered the mine and I found the idea of this being self-guided as a good way of viewing the mine than being rushed along by a tour guide. A worthy site to visit and explore indeed.

We popped in after a walk up snowdon. The kids were tired and initially didn't want to go but forgot about their tired legs once inside despite climbing 186 steps. It was interesting to see different coloured stalactites and the audio was interesting. We had the place pretty much to ourselves. Would certainly recommend.

This is not for anyone with a fear of the dark or claustrophobia or with reduced mobility as there is a lot of climbing steps.
The admission is a bit overpriced but my kids loved it and both my wife and I found it very interesting. It really gives you an idea of what life was like for those who worked here.

What a fantastic experience, my children loved the underground tour followed by the adventure playground and the well stocked shop. The staff were very kind and helpful, will definitely visit again.
