Description: Caffi Gwynant (Gwynant Café) is located near the base of the Watkin Path up Snowdon in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. It is an ideal place for a drink or food before or after a walk to the summit of Snowdon, or if you are just touring Snowdonia.

We stumbled into Caffi Gwynant after a bank holiday stroll up Snowdon. The food was first class. My salmon fish cakes were superb and my partner's vegetarian curry is still her favourite meal.

We have been here a few times since it opened. Varying from refreshments (with homemade cake) to lunch and it never disappoints. The food is home cooked to a high standard on the premises using local produce. This is a cafe that offers a great atmosphere, great location and good service with reasonable prices with a menu for all to enjoy. Well worth a visit.

Impressive home-cooked and locally sourced products menu (including specials board) in a small converted Chapel - three of us had substantial mains, pud and drinks (hot and cold) for less than £40. The venison burger (which was neither over or under cooked but just right) came with their truly excellent home made fruity chutney; the coleslaw was very good and their puds, although "standard fare" were great value - the treacle tart is well worth a try as is the bread & butter pudding. A thoroughly enjoyable experience - one should attend Chapel more often!
