Fantastic ice cream and home made pizzas. We had an ice cream every day !!! This may sound greedy BUT ....... Day One was after walking up & Down Snowdon ( via Rhid Duu path ) and the next day walking "The 3 Peaks " of Moel Hebog the tough mountain behind Bedgelert village.

Been visiting Beddgelert for over forty years and always call in for an ice-cream. Never been disappointed. Excellent - and the dog never took his eyes off the ice-cream!

Had a lovely meal here with generous portions of fresh salad, quick friendly service, followed by a delicious ice cream i had a toffee fudge and my partner had the Turkish delight, so much choice.

This is the second time we have been to Glaslyn's in the past twelve months and the choice of available flavours is staggering. My partner again had Chocolate and Ginger which she said was divine, and the Crème Caramel was absolutely heavenly. Have not tried the restaurant itself but if it is half the standard of the ice-cream, then we must make sure we stop by for a pizza too next time we visit.

We always make a point of visiting the Cafe Glendwr when in Porthmadog. We normally have a salad. You can select from a wide variety of salad ingredients and fish or meat. Our grandsons love their pizzas. The icecream is excellent, that in an area with many first class icecream parlours.
