Stayed here over Easter. Lounge area is nice with nice fire and decor. Nice food but the place seems rather disorganised. They had one waitress serving the whole hotel at breakfast who seemed surprised that everyone had come down at the same time even though breakfast was only served between 8am and 9am. I asked why the heating wasn't working on our floor. Turns out the boilers kept turning off so our room was freezing most of the time. The wifi got turned off at night too for some reason. All the staff seemed very stressed and didn't seem to have a system for anything which meant everything took longer than necessary. We had two bikes with us and they were kind to let us keep them in their lockable store at the back which was great. Great location and lovely village. Just a shame that the place seems rather disorganised and the staff don't seem to be managed very well. One of the reviews comments that the guests seem an inconvenience, which is how I'd describe it too. We were debating whether to make a fuss about the heating and refuse to pay for one of our nights but they did try to help with everything. Wouldn't return though unfortunately.
