A pal and I were cycling from Chester to Holyhead. There were few B&B places near to Red Wharf Bay, but Parc yr Odyn is a real gem. The B&B is located on National Cycle Route 5 (down a farm track), just west of the village of Pentraeth.

We were met as we cycled down the track by the lady proprietor, Helen with a welcome smile and the offer of a hot or cold drink (a cold drink was very welcome following our cycle trip). We sat in a delightful conservatory looking south, very pleasant and Helen joined us for a chat.

Our room was the Dairy cottage, delightful facilities, very clean, modern, warm and well equiped/supplied. There is a fully equiped kitchen area.

The en-suite with shower and bath was well supplied with big fluffy towels, loads of soaps, shampoos, tissues and books for those who like to linger.

Fresh milk and small cakes were left for us as a welcome. The beds were comfy.

Breakfast was an absolute delight. Fresh local produce (eggs from the very hens seen wondering around the cottage), local sausages etc. Plenty of food to satisfy the most demanding of appetites.

The proprietor kindly arranged for a taxi to pick us up for a visit to Red Wharf Bay about 4.5 miles away - worth a visit, see reviews.

I'd definitely go back, assuming the B&B wasn't fully booked of course!

We stayed in the B&B for 3 nights and was made to feel welcome by Helen and her husband. The farm had beautiful surroundings and it was very peaceful. The breakfast in the mornings were served in the conservertry and we had a good choice. Our bedroom was very spacious and we had a jacuzzi in the bathroom. In addition Helen had put little touches such as home made cakes in our room which made us feel at home. I would recommend it to anyone.

I'm beginning to lose count now of the times we have stayed with Helen but each and every one has been, without exception, a fantastic experience. I cannot imagine staying on Anglesey anywhere but at Parc yr Odyn and, like others, we are so glad we have discovered this little piece of heaven! We have stayed in the suites, in the cottage and up at the house - each one different but each one fabulous. Would love to stay a month but dread to think how many pounds those Welsh cakes would add to the figure! Thanks to you both - Helen and Hefin - for providing such wonderful hospitality and look forward to visiting again sooooon.

We stayed here for 6 nights in the Dairy Cottage which is absolutely beautiful accommodation. Everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable and luxurious holiday is in the cottage. The breakfast provided by Helen in the farmhouse is a real good start to the day with wonderful choices. We had tasty cakes waiting for us every day we returned (home) to the cottage. It is a peaceful haven for country/nature lovers with regular visitors to your door from the farmyard - our grandson was so thrilled to see the tractors everyday too, whilst visiting. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be staying again when we return to this lovely island of beautiful bays and sightseeing treasures.
Thanks again Helen and Heffin.

I didn't come across this B&B until my third search for accommodation and am I so relieved I did as we had such a lovely time here.

We were in the room with the bath, which I believe is the larger bedroom. There is a sitting area and dressing area and large bathroom. There is everything you need and if it is not there I know Helen would soon get it for you. Everyday there was a lovely treat left on the hospitality tray, usually a tasty welsh cake.

Downstairs is a beautiful sitting room with an open fire for the use of guests.

The breakfast is delicious, such choice. Hot milk with the coffee, fresh fruit salad, delicious bread, tastiest mushrooms ever. Any choice of egg is a good choice!

We liked the rural location as it was so scenic and peaceful yet nowhere was very far away.

Helen is a great hostess and Harry the dog gives the most enthusiastic welcome - be prepared to be licked to death!

We yearn to be back!
