Visiting Caergybi for the first time in 43 years, it was great seeing the Empire still flourishing. Amazed to see a fish and chip shop in the street opposite, still in existence. But unfortunately my late fathers, first cousin, who lived a few doors down is no longer alive. Had wonderful childhood memories prior to 1961 of the Empire, last film seen was August 61, Tony Hancock, as the bank clerk, who became a very poor artist. Remember seeing wonderful westerns, at the Empire, but wasnt impressed with mums choice of films, the King and l etc.

After being a regular visitor to the old cinema prior to the refurb. I was looking forward to going to see films at empire but unfortunately twice now I have been disappointed due to the heat it gets so hot and unbearable to watch a film to the end. I walked out this last time.

Just visited the cinema for the first time. Simple online booking pleasant helpful staff £5 for seats compared with £9 in Llandudno and less travelling. Clean and comfortable there are seats at the back for those who need extra leg room perhaps there should be more seats like these but well done Holyhead council for taking it over I hope it gets the support it deserves.

Fantastic little cinema. Friendly staff, good films, comfortable and clean. Great night out on a budget and no need to drive off the island! Such a brilliant cinema, I hope it continues to be well supported and does well.
