Walked here from Holyhead and it was worth it. Lovely views over land and sea. Be prepared to pay to enter the lighthouse and climb about 400 steps though!!!

Great views - spectacular in any weather. The steps are great to go down but coming up is a bit of a struggle. You can also walk over Holyhead mountain from here which is a nice walk. We visit here every time we in Holyhead

We decided to do a day trip on the ferry as the kids hadn't been on one before and we just wanted something to do around Holyhead to kill the time until the return trip - but this turned out to be very well worth the visit: we were all really impressed with really spectacular views, the climb down the cliffs to the lighthouse and tour up to the top. I would recommend this to anyone except maybe with very lively small children. If you can't manage the steps down to the lighthouse, the RSPB Visitors Centre is great for a snack and you still get to enjoy the amazing views.

Great for birdwatching but superb veiws, wild flowers, butterflies, walks and super friendly helpful locals. Actually there are quite a few hidden gems on Holy Island - worth a day out anytime. Angelsey itself is a revelation they kept that quiet.

This is tied in with the RSPB reserve now so no parking charges, not a lot to get in and an interesting visit. Struggle to get up, more interesting when the birds are there.
