I had an afternoon tea party here for my birthday. There were 11 of us in all, nearly the maxium possible, as the place is tiny but so sweet. We had lovely sandwiches and gorgeous cakes and scones with proper clotted cream. What I really like is that all the china is proper bone china and the teapots are proper old fashioned china tea pots. Because it was a party and closed to the public, we were able to take champagne and glasses were provided. The owner was very accomodating and replenished all the tea and coffee frequently and didn't mind when we were all hooting with laughter after too much bubbly! We'll definitely be going back from more treats!
