Description: With its imposing castle and extensive town walls, Conwy boasts some of the finest military architecture in Europe. The castle and the town it dramatically overlooks both date from the late 13th century, and were laid out on the orders of King Edward I following his victory over the Welsh Prince Llywelyn ap Gruffudd. Conwy Castle was one of a chain of fortresses built to secure the English King's hold on North Wales, and was completed in just five years under the supervision of Edward's master Mason, James of St George. Fast-forward hundreds of years and Conwy still remains one of the most spectacular towns in North Wales with history around every corner. Whatever the occasion, we promise to make it one that you and your guests will remember for many years to come. With a full banquet menu along with a tailored one-to-one service to your tastes and budget, The Mulberry is perfect venue for weddings, civil partnerships, christenings, birthdays and wakes.

“Average pub food”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

I'd looked at the reviews for te Mulberry before we went to Conwy and noted a lot of people saying it was pretty average - it is. We were staying in Conwy Marina and so it was the easiest place for us to eat out as we could walk there, so we thought we'd give it a try anyway. The kids were happy with their food but the adults were not all that impressed. The steak and ale pie had an overwelming taste of paprika which kind of spoilt it although the chips were very good. All in all the reviews on here are right. It's OK if you're passing.

“Marvellous Mulberry”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

We had a fab Sunday lunch today at the Mulberry. From walking into the Mulberry when our senses were livened by the aroma coming from the Carvery.
All of the Team were absolutely brilliant & the service they gave was excellent, very friendly & welcoming.
The Carvery was well presented & served by the Chef & an assistant which I much prefer than helping yourself to the veg (school dinners). Mrs K being a veggie had a beautiful Mushroom stack & then all the veg & potatoes was veggie friendly ie no goose fat, bacon bits etc.
I had a great piece of beef that was so succulent & everything about the whole meal was so unlike a carvery where everything has dried under lamps. This was one of the best "home made" Sunday roasts we have ever had.
The gorgeous food & brilliant Team would be enough but there is also the most amazing view of the Marina at lots of the tables. A real treat!

“Never again!!”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Service from bar staff was very slow, coke was flat. Small portions of food and tasteless! I had a steak, cheese & onion panini, plenty of onions but very little else and a handful of chips which I had paid £1.95 for. On the plus side the views are stunning.

“Excellent!”

Was here in April with my family. Very friendly and efficient service. Food is excellent with a really great choice and ample portions! Not to mention the view of the marina! Highly recommended!
