“Perfect :)”
Reviewed May 25, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

We had the most wonderful stay at The Royal Oak Cottage recently. Our family of 7 and a dog (from 17 months to 82 years old) were all petfectly catered to. One thing we were really taken with was that the cottage is safe for our little girl who is very independent, high chair stair gate and cot all provides. Perfectly clean and all of the homley touches made our stay all the more enjoyable. From the moment we made an enquiry to book, the communication and information from Chad and Becky was great. We also met dawn when we arrived who was lovely, she made us feel so welcome. On arrival there was even bowls and treats for the dog and information on all of the dog friendly pubs and shops in Conwy. We will definatley be booking again. I cannot reccomend enough! :)

Thank you so much for a glowing review! Dawn works so hard to make every holiday perfect and will really appreciate your acknowledgment of that. Holiday homes should be home from home so we love it when guests wish to return! You are more than welcome to return again and enjoy North Wales. Becky & Chad xx

“Felt like home”

I rarely stay away from home as I easily get home sick, however I managed to stay here for 2 weeks managing to only cry about once a day. The view was beautiful and the nearby ice cream shop was amazing. It really was just a perfect place to stay and made my visit to Conwy the best holiday i’ve ever had.

“Fabulous”
Reviewed November 30, 2017 for a stay in December 2016

I thought I had reviews this last year but just got a reminder from trip advisor so I am sorry it is late. This is a fantastic rental right on the harbour. It is suitable for a group as there are 4 bedrooms. I live in Sri Lanka and stay in Conwy often on my visits to Uk and loved this property. I invited different people to sat with me at different times and at one stage all bedrooms in use. There are 2 bathrooms and bedroom all have views of the harbour and are roomy so it is not squashed. The lounge dining room is big. Everything worked, heating was great and gas lof effect fir. Kitchen had everything you needed and there is a small courtyard garde. Perfect.

“Wonderful Cottage Fabulous Views”
Reviewed October 6, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We have just spent a really wonderful week at Royal Oak Cottage in Conwy. It is right on the harbour with fabulous views from all of the rooms. Such a comfortable place to spend a weeks holiday with everything you could possibly need, extremely well equipped and the sea on your doorstep. What more could you ask for even the weather was kind to us. The dogs loved the beach, swimming in the sea and we found lots of local places that were dog friendly.
Conwy has a number of restaurants within five minutes walk if you don't feel like cooking every night. Crab available on the quay just after the boats had come in that's what you call really fresh!!
Our thanks to Chad & Becky for sharing their home and to Dawn for making sure it was spotless. I can't recommend it highly enough it's really fabulous, it has by far the best position in Conwy
What more can we say we have rebooked already.

“Family holiday ”
Reviewed August 30, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

House was really nice. 7 of us stayed and never felt cramped or in each other's way. We had murder mystery night. With the game in the cottage. Was great laugh. Would highly recommend it. The smallest house two doors down is a gold mine. Queues all day long. The view in the morning looking out of the bedroom was great. Looking over the river. Mug of tea in the morning sitting on the wall outside the cottage. Talked to neighbours who told you some gossip. Only downside was the parking. Once you got it you tried to not move it. Town has nice places to eat and drink. Tried nearly all the pubs in the town. My wife has new favourite drink. Rhubarb gin with ginger ale. All the family agreed a great place to stay. Even the 14 year old.

Wow! Chad & I will have to try the rhubarb gin and ginger ale! Great suggestion! Hope you come back soon x School holiday season always increases the parking in Conwy but by evening a space always appears xxx

“Wonderful house in fantastic location.”
Reviewed April 19, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

This house is ideally situated for a great family holiday in North Wales. It is right on the Conway quayside with breathtaking views from every window. It is spotlessly clean and very well equipped - even a water bowl for the dog and a jar of dog biscuits too! We had a great holiday and would love to return for another holiday.

“Amazing family reunion”
Reviewed February 16, 2017 for a stay in July 2016

I booked this cottage from Canada. We used to live in the Uk and now live in Canada and wanted somewhere large enough to host 8 or more people and a dog. This place came up on my search and wow is all i can say. The location is second to none for walking and views of the local attractions. We often to took the train to places which was so convenient and relaxing for us. I am sure we will be back and would love love love to stay here again.
