“A pleasant enough quay”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

Interesting to visit, seeing all the boats and yachts tied up here, but unless one of them is yours, there’s not much to do here except walk around and look at them.

“Cute little town with nice shops cafes and restaurants”
Reviewed November 29, 2013

Just a short walk from the castle is the town and quay. The quay features the smallest house in Europe. Lots of shops to mooch around and pass an hour.

“Undervalued”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

It IS an interesting place but so much more could be offered to visitors. There should be excellent resturants and bistro's cooking local seafoods and all the wonderful local produce available,AT reasonable prices so that visitors and the locals can frequent the lovely venue for more than just a special occasion. The "pub" is a bit grim, but friendly.Other than that it is bleak,a quick walk along the harbour to view the last of the fishing fleet, and if the weather allows an expensive boat trip .Worth a visit but don't get excited!.

“yachts and yachts”

nice to see changes as tide comes in and out. Lots of nice boats and yachts. And of course time to stop for a bit of refreshment.

“Lovely and peaceful”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

Lovely benches to sit on and eat an ice cream, which I must say was an excellent ice cream. Check out the smallest house in the UK, Very cute. Watch them bring in the mussels.
