The castle hotel is the only 4 star in Conwy ,as I had just stayed in a 4 star in Llandudno I had something to base the price on it was 20 pounds dearer. No tea pot in room, only 1 pack of biscuits between 2 people ,no face flannels ,and no dressing gowns. The shower in room 210 went from a fountain to a drip.
The evening meal was very good and cost was 90 pounds for 3 courses including 2 drinks each. However the breakfast was let down by hardly any fresh fruit and a tomato sauce bottle bought to the table ,not very 4 star. Overall I would consider it more 3 star than 4 .

This is a gem of a Hotel, right in the middle of this lovely town. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 108 and it was really clean and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding The room faced out towards the main road and we were expecting some noise during the night, but we both had a peaceful night sleep. Plenty of parking at this hotel too.
The restaurant was very nice and the food served was top notch and with a good selection to choose from. well worth the money. Breakfast was first class with a good selection on the menu. If you a travelling to this area I strongly recommend this hotel.

we did the Sunday Sinner special, which was a good value. Comfortable, clean, quite deluxe room and bath.

And honestly, one of the best breakfasts I had in three weeks in Great Britain. that local yogurt! fabulous!

we loved the atmosphere, and especially all the original art on Shakespeare themes!

Went on a spring saver deal for one night and was not disappointed , we payed £6more for a larger room as we like to have a nice bath at the end of the day, a lovely old hotel with creaking floor boards, top marks for all of the staff there and the food was excellent, will be keeping a look out for more deals here as we will definatly be going back.

Stayed just the one night but had lovely time. Our room was very nice, and clean. The food was fantastic. The staff went out of there way to help, especially the restaurant waitresses. We had a bargain at £105 for room and 2 coarse a la carte meal, bottle of wine and breakfast. Excellent value.

We had an evening with our daughter and her boyfriend,
The meals were some of the best we have eaten. The lamb
was so tasty in a wonderful sauce, Steaks were cooked
to our liking, we had amazing Deserts! We enjoyed a great
bottle of Malbec, and relaxed in the comfortable chairs and
luxurious surroundings. The service was really good too,
all in all a wonderful evening all round. We will definitely be
going back to enjoy another great evening!
