A really really good day out - a proper castle, really interesting and absolutely stunning views. A must do when visiting North Wales.

This is a great castle and you can spend ages wandering around the different rooms and floors - good exercise too if you go to the top of all the towers, the views from the towers are lovely too.

It's not particularly cheap but you can spend a good few hours in here. One thing I would have liked to see more of was information boards but that's because I personally like to read a lot.

The gift shop is nice and sells lots of interesting stuff.

This is a must visit to anyone coming to North Wales.
Amazingly preserved you get a real sense of Castle life as well as being in awe of how anything so magnificent could be built in just four years in the 1400s.
The walls are also incredible and the views stunning.
Great for families and friends.

Great castle with amazing views! Only negative thing could be we wished there were more information signs saying what room we were standing in etc.

Whilst on our holiday we decided to visit Conwy Castle.

The castle is a good one to visit in Wales apparently being the only ever completed one.

Fantasic views from every angle, my only complaint is the safety aspect. The railings around the edge dont seem very high and it made me slightly concerned having a child with me and would put me off returning.

Great castle with loads still in tact and well worth a visit for a couple of hours with the family. Great views of the harbour and countryside from the towers.

Beautiful castle on a river bank, an ideal place for people who like history and photography. Picturesque and interesting, well-preserved, definitelly worth visiting.

During a business to Manchester England, I took a day to go visit Conwy Castle in Conwy Wales. what an amazing place... great customer service in the souvenir shop and a great little ice cream shop in the same parking lot... If you are anywhere within a few hours of this place, I highly recommend the trip. you will not be disappointed.

I caught the train from Chester to the above Llandundo Junction ,North Wales and then Bus 27 to Conway and the Castle. What a spectacular sight . The castle is most certainly amazing. It is massive and although a ruin there is still a lot standing and in amazing repair.
For £ 7.60 entrance fee you can explore all the Towers and the views over Conway and the Bay. Conway is a quaint fishing village surrounded by a Roman Wall. Loads of history in High Street which is the main street including an Edwardian Townhouse which unfortunately was closed due to being out of season but still impressive to see. The town has a Hop on Hop off Bus but today I walked about and made my own way.
Fish and chips on the boardwalk was a highlight but battling to keep them from the Seagulls was entertainment in itself.
It was a great day and really worth the trip even though it was a Wintery day.

It is a mid size castle. and in Wales there are tons of these. So, unless you are deeply into UK history or have a keen fascination for castles, this can be skipped. If you have not seen any other castle then this one is fine to visit. We were with our 2 kids and this attraction has a little quiz/ treasure hunt that kids can indulge in. It proved a nice way to see the castle and also keep the kids entertained. They were too excited to receive a batch at the end of it all. However, if you are doing a couples/ adults holiday, skip this attraction.
