Visited here yesterday with my husband and young daughter. Friendly staff. Delicious Sunday lunch which we could not fault and was very good value. So nice to have a lovely garden with toys which kept our toddler daughter very happy! It appears to be very family friendly here and we will now be visiting on a regular basis. Thank you to the owner for making us feel so welcome on our arrival, much appreciated.

I used the function room to hold a surprise 60th/30th party and requested the 'middle' buffet. The room was perfect for our needs with a dance floor and a small private bar area. We had around 50 people in the room but it could have held a lot more. The buffet was excellent - everyone commented about how nice it was, and there certainly was plenty to go round. The garden round the back was perfect for kids to play and there were a number of toys there as well. This venue worked well for the party, but I can see it being perfect for other functions as well.

We had lunch at the King of Prussia. It was just down the road from our accommodation. The service was brilliant and the food was too. The atmosphere was great, your quintessential English/ Welsh pub. The menu suited all of us, something for everyone including the kids, who are very fussy. They were happy to modify the meals for the children and didn't mind when we relocated to more comfortable seating for desert.
