We booked our table the morning of our visit and we were told there would only be tables available from 1.30 pm which was fine for us . One thing I really dislike is being offered the worst table position in a restaurant . Sure enough we were shown to a table for two right in the main doorway ... one of us sitting in an open door way and the other looking straight out of the doorway. This is the only doorway into the room so all the waiting staff with food plus all the diners would be brushing past us all the time . We asked for another table as there were plenty of others . Why do restaurants try to foist these poor tables onto clients ?
I suggest they get rid of this table altogether to avoid disappointment and awkwardness for diners .
We will not be revisiting although food was very tasty .
