We stayed one night here as part of the tour group. Our room was nice size and clean. The staff were friendly. Service in the restaurant was very good. It is right across the street from an ASDA store which can be helpful when you are traveling. Our room was very quiet.

Located a few minutes walk to the main part of town and the castle, the Celtic Royal hotel is a good option for Caernarfon. It is a relatively large hotel for North Wales. The standard rooms are European size. The hotel building is deep in history and is documented on some of the hotel hallway walls. The lobby area extends four stories up and is nicely appointed with wood and local art. A beautiful wood staircase runs up the middle to all floors. There are several living room style common areas to relax and a good restaurant and bar. The breakfast is a nice English buffet. Off street parking is available for free and there is an indoor pool and spa. It appeared popular with tour bus groups, three tour bus groups stayed the night we were there. The rooms are clean and efficient with cable TV and WiFi.

This Hotel is very well build & kept very clean and we enjoyed good food and soft well-sprung beds. In the 5 days we stayed there the staff were most pleasant and spoke whenever you met them & were very helpful. The wooden staircases and skirting boards were polished while we were there and rooms, carpets and corridor floors were clean.
The Spa/swimming pool area looked inviting and clean, but we did not have time to use it.
The room where we had our meals had an excellent ballroom & floor which we used and enjoyed.
Parking was achieved in the Hotel's car-park every day and access from the main road is good.
We would certainly return to this Hotel for another stay, in this area.

Room Tip: Corner suites/bedrooms and the adjacent suites are generally large doubles. Other non-corner/adjacen...

Just come back from a long weekend at this lovely hotel. Clean, comfortable and great value for money. Food lovely with great choice. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Pool lovely too - spotlessly clean; very nice facility. Will certainly visit again.

Room Tip: Stayed in 122 & 123 - both really nice :)

We stayed three nights, loving Caernarfon. The hotel is just up the road from the center of town; the bus stop is right across the street by the ASDA. Staff couldn't have been more kind, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, although the plumbing and electrics took a bit of figuring out. Excellent breakfasts sent us on our way. Diolch yn fawr!

Stayed for a week with a group of 30 Hotel full . Food great with a choice of starters main and sweet. Bar good staff helpful . Victoria always with a smile. Close to castle . We used as a base.
Bedrooms clean lighting confused with a number of switches . Entertainment one night was a singer rubbish. So went into side snug. Coffee tea milk stocked up each day . More given when asked. Clean and tidy . Nice place to stay .

I stayed for four nights with my U3A group. Very convenient location - just a short walk to the town centre - and the ASDA opposite the hotel is useful. I had single occupancy of a generous sized room with two single beds - very clean and comfortable. Food excellent - I had difficulty making my choices because I liked everything on the menu. Considering how many people were staying there (there were other coach parties besides us), the service was quick and efficient. Most of the staff were Eastern European and some did not have a very good command of English but this was not a problem because they were all so cheerful and helpful.
