Both myself and my partner are lovers of asian food. We were in North Wales this weekend for Rachael's birthday. Having scoured the internet before we left home we decided on Sopna for her birthday meal. We have eaten at many indian restaraunts throughout the uk from back street places in Bradford to 5 star establishments in London so we have a good idea of whats what. I will give an honest opinion of our expierience at Sopna. On arrival we noticed that the decor and seating was clean and comfortable but relatively basic. staff were very attentive, albeit it was quiet. From ordering to paying all things were as you would expect with good timings between courses and no pressure. On to the food, It was 1st class from the poppadums and pickle tray to the fresh sliced orange at the end (served free whilst organising the bill) I wont bore you with our food choices only to say we had two very differant dishes and they were equally delicious. This is not elequent dining but the food is excellent and when we re-visit north wales we will have a meal at Sopna.
