Spent a week staying in a cottage and struggled daily to find decent eating places in and around Caernarfon, then we stumbled across Ouzo and Olives! Swift, friendly service, lovely clean decor, a menu with hot and cold mezze selection, reasonably priced and it was all delicious! In fact, we ordered a couple of extra dishes after we had polished off the first lot! We went with our 3 children aged 8, 9 and 11 and they loved it. If you like tapas then you'll love this place, the chicken skewers were a favourite as were the meat balls, baked feta and falafels. If you are in the area then it's definitely worth a visit. Thoroughly recommend this place.

We were desperately looking for a restaurant in Caernarfon that was open (it was 7pm) and found this Greek restaurant in a back street. We weren't planning on having Greek food but were really glad we went in.
The food was amazing. We chose 6 little dishes (for the 2 of us) and all of them were equally excellent. It all tasted really fresh. The waitress was really nice but not intrusive and the surroundings really pretty. We definitely recommend and would definitely go back there!

Dropped into Ouzo and Olives for the first time on a cold weekend in January. To be honest I wasn't expecting too much having been stung by visits to other Greek restaurants in the UK but Greek food does remain my favourite so I persevere ! I'm so glad we did as we spent a really enjoyable evening here with some lovely food and wine. If you forgot where you were then the decor and atmosphere certainly whisk you away to a small taverna on a Greek island ! Will definitely be back when the weather is warmer and to hopefully try a meal in the courtyard outside. As other reviewers have mentioned the menu consists solely of hot and cold mezze style food which is really nice for a change. We split the meal into two halves by ordering a selection of cold dishes and dips and then a few warm dishes all accompanied by lashings of pitta bread and wine ! Service was great - attentive but not intrusive. Looking forward to the next visit.

Have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and it is always up to the same high standard.

The food is superb and priced very affordably. What some reviewers seem to be oblivious to is the fact that the restaurant serves meze, rather than traditional main courses, and you thus order several to share. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the meze portions are generous.

The restaurant itself has a nice interior and the owner is very friendly. There seem to not be many customers, which we couldn't understand, given our excellent experiences, but the absence of other people made it an even more relaxing atmosphere and, whilst the service is extremely attentive, it's certainly not intrusive.

Would definitely recommend!

Really surprised to find a great Greek restaurant in the middle of this historic neighborhood. Although the selections were considered tapas size, they were priced right so one could order a variety to enjoy. Salad was incredibly fresh and the tzatziki was excellent. Great change if you're looking for something other than traditional English fare.
