“Just What I Expected”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2013

If you're looking for character, or spectacular views, then this won't be for you. Premier Inn works to a formula, and this one does it very well. The beds are comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff very friendly. It's also good value. There were works taking place in the car park. Arriving on Sunday it was quiet. On Monday morning workers arrived at 9 o'clock, so no early morning disruption. As I tried to leave, a lorry blocked my route out of the car park, and I was warned that they would be there for 10 minutes. Given the time, this certainly showed a lack of planning on the part of the contractors, however, my thanks to the lady who had the initiative to find another member of staff who's car was parked (legitimately) in a space that, when the car was moved, allowed a way out.

I stayed here in September for one night only and, not knowing what to expect, was a bit apprehensive. I was very pleasantly surprised. The greeting from the staff at reception was very friendly and my room was spacious and immaculately clean. The bathroom, which can often let a hotel room down, was also pristine. Worth mentioning to anyone, like myself, who has never stayed in one of these that you do need to bring your own shampoo, soap etc. but there is a hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities as well as a large, flat screen, wall mounted TV! Also included is half an hour's free internet access. Would definitely use this chain again if the Bangor hotel is typical of it's quality.

Room Tip: I asked for a second floor room, anticipating that there might be noise from other guests going to...

My cousin and I spent 3 nights. the room was as a standard of Premier inn clean and comfortable.

The location is very good very quite place and just 8 min by car to city center (Tesco extra). The restaurant (table table) providing very delicious food.

The small issue that I was facing is that the mobile coverage inside the room was very poor.

The service both in the hotel and adjoining table table restaurant was superb, really enjoyed staying here in a good size clean room and the trademark comfy bed, really handy for the very many local attractions and easy to find, some work going on in the car park but still plenty of space available for your car. Very Good all round.

Although room was clean and comfortable, and most staff friendly, the evening meal was very average and too highly priced. The breakfast was much better !
No alarm clock needed here as the extensive building works just below your window will ensure you are up and about at 7 : 30 am. The double glazed window not really helping with the noise.

As the building works are all around the hotel the cost of our stay should have been discounted as a goodwill gesture !

Somewhat disappointing.

Don't know if it's just me, but this felt like a slightly posher premier inn than the usual. Location is lovely and peaceful, yet so close to the A55. The Table Table restaurant attached was good. The quality of sleep and supremely comfortable beds were amazing. They are extending at the moment so parking was a bit tricky although not impossible. Overall very good, very clean, pleasant staff and i would return - So much better than any Travel lodge!
