“Good hotel but... paid for it”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

Good comfortable stay and no problems.Easy to find and a good overnight stop off. Nice friendly staff and good food. Room fine and a goodnight sleep was had. I did pay a little more then what I would usually pay for a premier inn,£91 without the breakfast(which I did have and was very nice too). So nearly £100 for one night and if I am totally honest could put me off staying again.

Overall the two nights I stayed I hardly slept due to the heat in the rooms. It's summer, and no air conditioning and no air outside to circulate the rooms through the small opening in the window. I can't really fault anything else except that and I would stay again I just hope it's abit cooler the next time. If you are a group and require rooms being close to each other state when your booking as we were a group with two rooms in the annex and one in the main building but they just about managed to change this on arrival.

decent price, good location on the A55 for accessing north west Wales, clean and good pub next door (Table Table) for breakfast & dinner! No air con but can rarely be as hot as it was the weekend we were there!!

The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, no problems there. Not much of a welcome and the staff seemed remote and not that helpful. The cost rises every visit to Premier Inns and now to us represents poor value for money when compared with independent establishments. Breakfast and evening meal food quality was ok. However we nearly died of hunger waiting for our evening meals. It took at least 45 minutes every night (3 of them) and they only appear after prompting. This was a common problem as several other diners complained with little effect.

This was our first visit to the Premier Inn in Bangor. Our room was in the annex. Parking was very convenient, the room was large, clean and quiet. The hotel was fairly easy to find just off the A55. One word of warning - the adjoining Table Table restaurant was very slow on the Sunday evening we went. It took over an hour for our meal to be served after ordering.

Great place on the outskirts of Bangor, ideal for the short stay required ,whilst we celebrated our son's graduation from Bangor university. Plentiful breakfast each morning and excellent evening meals both nights.

A classic Premier Inn stay, a little impersonal and anonymous.

No phone reception and still no free wifi, I paid £3 for wifi, however the reception wasn't good enough for good use. In the morning the hotel did give me a refund.

The room was nice, although I had to go upstairs to my room, if you had a lot of luggage then this could be a bind. Sadly there was no aircon, and a hot July night in the UK can get very sticky and it did.

The breakfast at Table Table attached to the Inn was only average at best.

Probably wont stop again.

Room Tip: Go in winter, the rooms have heaters.
