“Fantastic!”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

Feeding time is 3pm, every day and it's just a short walk down to the lake, there are steep steps down but they also provide a gradient for wheel chairs. There are information boards at the start and two main vantage points but you can see from lots of areas. There was about 120-150 on Saturday afternoon and we felt privileged to see it. They only feed them for about 5 mins but the birds are there for about 20 mins beforehand and stay for about half an hour after - swooping down over the water and delighting the crowd with their acrobatics. We didn't eat in the cafe but it looked very nice and lots of people were sitting eating out on the balcony drinking in the view. They very thoughtfully have put up bird feeders and they were full of birds. The toilets were very clean. They have also provided two large children playing areas. Can't wait to go again and we shall make more of a day of it next time and eat in the cafe. No entrance fee but you pay £2 for parking.

“Amazing!!”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

Only found out about this place by chance & as it was such a nice day we decided to visit.
It's a lovely spot with the lake nestled in the valley, it's a short walk down to the Red Kite viewing area & it can be cold so dress up!
They feed the Kites @ 15:00 every day & what a spectacle!
There must have been at least 100 & to watch them swooping down & wheeling around is amazing!
Lots of people attempting to photograph them BUT they move so fast!
Well worth a visit we will go again!

“Lovely”

We called here when we went on a Cambrian Safari and had great tea and cakes in the visitor centre. The local area is stunning and there are lovely walks and of course the Red Kites. Highly recommended.

We have been here many times as we only live in aberaeron. Its a great pleace to go and my kids love it. Super cafe, and the best adventure playground. And to cap it off a beautiful sight seeing the red kites feed. A real must see.
