Feeding time is 3pm, every day and it's just a short walk down to the lake, there are steep steps down but they also provide a gradient for wheel chairs. There are information boards at the start and two main vantage points but you can see from lots of areas. There was about 120-150 on Saturday afternoon and we felt privileged to see it. They only feed them for about 5 mins but the birds are there for about 20 mins beforehand and stay for about half an hour after - swooping down over the water and delighting the crowd with their acrobatics. We didn't eat in the cafe but it looked very nice and lots of people were sitting eating out on the balcony drinking in the view. They very thoughtfully have put up bird feeders and they were full of birds. The toilets were very clean. They have also provided two large children playing areas. Can't wait to go again and we shall make more of a day of it next time and eat in the cafe. No entrance fee but you pay £2 for parking.
