I live locally and eat very often at the Tyn. The food and service is always lovely! Every week they have a pie night (Tuesday) and curry night (Wednesday) which is great value for money and all homemade, I often call in for a proper home cooked meal on these nights and I've never been dissapointed! I am still to try their Sunday dinner. Keep it up!

We went here on recommendation from Brynarth Guest House and were not disappointed. The Sunday lunch was superb and great value. The pub itself is full of character and was welcoming, the food was a real treat as it was freshly cooked, and high quality. It's hard to find really good pub food these days without losing the warm atmosphere offered in a traditional setting. All boxes ticked for us thank you!

Characterful pub which is run by a super local family.
Excellent chef prepares interesting and ever changing menu board offering a huge variety from home made pies to pasta dishes as well as meat and fish from the region. They also have good value special mid week menus which are well worth a try. One of our top 3 pubs in the area.

I stopped at the Tynllidiart Arms whilst travelling through Capel Bangor. I have to stay how welcoming and accommodating the staff were with an atmosphere to match. To add to this, the food was plentiful, delicious and excellent value for money. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they also brew their own ale, which is made in what is known as "the worlds smallest brewery".

I would recommend anyone travelling through Abertystwyth or stopping anywhere nearby to take the time and make an effort to visit this beautiful place, you will certainly have a fantastic experience.
