Y Ffarmers is a pub transformed by a husband and wife team into an excellent restaurant. It retains the informality of the pub, though on a Tuesday evening in October all the tables were occupied by diners. It may seem a long drive out of Aberystwyth on narrow windy lanes but the journey is worth it. Deserving the Good Food Guide rating it delivers a good range of choice focussed on locally sourced ingredients and a sensibly priced short wine list. Service attentive and appropriately friendly.
