My partner and I recently moved to Borth, and fancied treating ourselves to a curry after a long day at work. The prices on the takeaway menu were expensive - similar to that of 5 star restaurants in town such as 'Light of Asia' and 'Shilam' - so we expected the food to be of equal outstanding quality. When we returned home and opened up the bag, we were very disappointed. We ordered 3 different dishes, all of which hadn't been labelled so we didn't know what was what, and every curry had a centimetre thick layer of fat and grease floating on the surface. It looked disgusting, but as we had paid so much for everything, we couldn't leave it. We did our best to scoop out what we could, but there was little sauce , only clumps of herbs and paste, and the chicken was terrible quality - I had to leave most pieces because they were full of griseled lumps all stuck together. The meal was very bland and we ended up leaving most of it as we couldn't trust what was in it. I hope we only caught this restaurant on a bad day, but we will definitely not be returning.
