Stayed in Woodpecker lodge, very spacious and well equipped.
Location was excellent and Diane and her family are so welcoming and helpfull.
Children loved the fishing pools and games room.
Just wish we had booked longer than one week.
Will definatley be back next year.
If you get the chance visit Shellesy Walsh race track when there is an event on , it is so close to Pilands Farm.

I have just shared a fantastic wedding weekend in Worcestershire with 11 members of my family. We needed somewhere near to the wedding venue where we could all be together and where we could give my son a proper send off. The fantastic views from Kingfisher Lodge made a perfect backdrop to the Groom's photos. It was a lovely day.
The accomodation was perfect; warm and comfortable and spacious enough for us all to get together in the evening, it had everything we needed. My sisters stayed in two of the bungalows, so it was lovely to be able to stroll over and have some family time together while watching the buzzards flying above the woods across the valley. We all loved it and would like to go back one day.

I organised a visit to the Welsh Marches for 18 Finns and we stayed at Pitlands Farm. Finns are used to living in their summer cottages for several weeks in June, July and August but not in such luxury. The whole group was delighted with the accommodation, the helpfulness of Diane and her family, and the beautiful surroundings. The chalets were first class with washing machine, dishwasher etc... and immaculately clean. As we arrived very late Diane had gone to the trouble of providing breakfast foodstuffs for us and had made sure we had absolutely everything we could require.

For a large group the accommodation was perfect. We had the use of the games room so we could meet together at the beginning and end of the day and also had the use of several BBQs so people could use them individually or collectively. Two pubs in the village of Clifton-on-Teme are within walking distance, if a somewhat steep uphill climb which some of our older guests found difficult, especially as it poured with rain. No problem for the Mann family. They offered to ferry us up in their cars, all 18 of us and at no cost to us at all. That is real service.

Our only query was that we had to buy loo rolls etc... which my Finnish guests found a bit strange. I think it would be good policy to put in the basics as self-catering can mean different things to different people and especially for overseas guests. It was easily sorted but would have been better if I had known in advance.

We returm again in September and November and are already looking to book twice next year. What better recommendation can you get than that?

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent.

Our 3rd time this year. On arrival, no welcome, found we had to purchase dishwasher tablets, loo roll, kitchen roll. In all the self catering places we've rented, we've never had to do this. Is this expected of oversees visitors too ? A little bit disappointed really, no real customer contact or service, this does make a difference, especially when you are a returning customer.

We have been to Pitlands twice now to visit family and friends in the area. Our Newfoundland dog and parrot were made most welcome. Unfortunately the parrot picked up the smoke alarm (which occasionally went off when the toaster was used) and the owners found this funny and she was doing this all down the M5. We cannot praise enough the accommodation and how lovely the owners are - we even had family and friends round for a bbq and nobody minded. We made friends with the couple next door and have been on holiday with them.since. The New Inn was great and we had many laughs up there especially at the lawn mower racing, which is taken very seriously!! Keep up the good work. Pete and Sue Cornwall

Room Tip: We stayed in the bungalows twice.

What a stunning location, in a beautiful hidden valley. Amazing views from the rental properties, friendly owners, and a great games room and hot tub. We stayed in one of the lodges, which offer a lot of space for the very competitive price. It had everything that you might have wanted, in a very homely, cottage style. If you prefer something a bit more modern and minimal then go for the one of the newer properties, which we also looked round. We had a keen and experienced fisherman with us, the fish were literally jumping onto his hook on one of the lakes, whereas the other lake proved much more challenging. We've done several of these lodge type holidays with fishing over the last few years and this was a total gem.
