“A day at the races”

Everything a national hunt course should be. Yes, not the highest standard of racing but friendly staff and everything is easily accessible.
Not the cheapest pint but friendly service and always a cheerful crowd.
They did well to race at all on this particular day given the volume of recent rain but everything went ahead smoothly.

“A good day out”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

We had come to the are from the north of England in order to visit race courses. This is a nice course and having paid I think £16/18 without anything off for pensioners :( with £3 for a race card makes it expensive. However the large room upstairs with large tables and chairs with tv coverage so that when it rained I could stay indoors and not miss the race.

Great Day Out, Easy access, free parking, good food, and great fun, for not a lot of money. Unless you loose on the horses!

“Worcester Car parking”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

Beware in Worcester of car park 'Jobsworths'! On the hottest Sunday of the year, we chose to park in the shadows of the arches of the riverside car park. Notorious for being space restricted, and recovering from major hip surgery, I chose to give myself room to open my door, and preserve its paintwork by very slightly breaching the parking guide lines, as had the adjacent car already in a 3 car (?) bay. The only bay with 3 cars in it had 3 Corsas, ours was occupied by a Passat and a large Audi. The car park was 75% empty. On our return from a pleasant afternoon, all but 3 Corsas in the shade had incurred £50 fines! Worcester is a struggling community desperate for tourist income, it just lost at least two monthly visitors!
