Apple Wood Glamping
Reviewed September 6, 2012

Recently stayed at Apple wood Glamping in the 6wks kids holiday. Stayed with our two children (14yrs & 12yrs) in a bell tent. We really enjoyed making our own little camp fire outside (all wood is provided) after our BBQ. Kerri, as mentioned in other reviews, is the hostest with the mostest. Anything you need, he is there like a flash to attend to your every need. Peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to amenties (nearby Pershore & Worcester). The kids loved the outdoors and catering for ourselves. This is great alternative holiday to try and you won't be dissapointed!

There was 8 ladies that stayed in the yurt it was fantastic. Right opposite the apple orchards & farm brought the enthenticity to light! It is absolutely beautiful. The birthday girl brought her own BBQ and we all brought food to cook, fortunately it was a lovely day so we stayed outside by the fire one of the ladies made up, you may find your self having to top up your fire wood to keep it burning, which kept us warm for the remainder of the night. The toilets& shower facilities are a short walk away. Also car parking is in eyesight from your Yurt or tent. They are spacious & it does get a tad cold at night as you can imagine. There was sleeping bags & blow up beds supplied but you may want to bring a blanket to double up with. There is a solar panel system for lighting & tea lights which looks beautiful at night. There is also a big bed in the middle of the yurt which was lovely slept 3 ladies of the 8. It's a lovely peaceful place. Thank you to Kerry who made our stay very pleasant! We will be back.

Spent four days at the farm in one of the bell tents with 5 other friends and had a fantastic time! The tents were perfect and everything provided including airbeds and sleeping bags! The farm and orchard were lovely to walk around and the site was very clean and friendly. Keri was very attentive to our needs and always available if we needed anything. The lido at Droitwich is worth a visit. I will definitely recommend the site to family and friends and I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay :)

We have just returned from four relaxing days/ nights at Applewood Glamping. As previous post has stated everything is provided for you whilst staying. We stayed in a bell tent with our two children and loved it. The weather was very hot whilst there and John the farm owner was very happy for us to use his freezer/fridge to re freeze our freezer blocks. Keri who runs the Glamping side of the farm was an excellent host and catered for our every need, even suggesting installing a fridge for the campers use to John which was then done the next day. The farm is in a lovely part of the country with lots of surrounding countryside and lovely days out to suit most people. We didn't use the wood burning stove as it was very warm so used the BBQ to cook on, all charcoal is provided free for the bbq's as are the logs for the campfires.
We can't recommend this site enough and will be returning again in the future.
Well done and thanks to Keri, see you soon!

My husband and I stayed in the yurt at the Apple Wood glamping site in Crowle and what a lovely time we had! It was perfect in every sense of the word... beautiful apple orchard, stunning yurt, clean toilets and hot showers, personal picnic area with barbecue, super-comfy bed, and attentive hosts. Since there are only 3 bell-tents and 1 yurt on the farm, it doesnt feel crowded at all.

All essentials (towels, candles and tealights, cups, pots, pans, glasses, bottle openers, knives cutlery) were provided so all you need to pack is your clothes and a camera :)
There are some nice pubs in the vicinity serving up good fare however, it is equally fun to cook on the wood burning stove. We are already planning to return with a group of friends next year :)

We just came back from 3 days at Fircone Farm and had a fantastic weekend glamping! We stayed in one of the super comfy Bell tents and despite quite a bit of rain (the joy of unpredictable English weather!), we enjoyed every minute of it! Everything is provided to make your stay hassle-free and enjoyable: bedding, towels, BBQ, pots, plates, mugs, etc... even tea and coffee! Lots of nice country pubs around if you can't be bothered cooking and plenty of little villages to make for perfect day-trips exploring the area. Highly recommend it and the hosts are extremely attentive!
