Diglis House was recommended by a work colleugue who stumbled across it. Diglis House is located right next to the river with pleasant views from the beer garden and conservatory. Several rooms also overlook the river, although as I never request a particular room, I have never experienced staying in one, and usually get allocated another. The bar staff are always helpful and friendly.

I have now stayed here several times and always look forward to staying. However, on my recent visit I was allocated room 8 which I thought was a bit small, so will definitely be making sure I request a particular room on my next visit.

All in all this is a good place to stay and I will continue to do so.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the river are spacious and very nice to stay in.

Had the good fortune to stay at this lovely hotel on the side of the river Severn in Worcester. Great location for sightseeing and for shopping ..only a few minutes walk to town centre. We stayed when Worcester was hit with the floods and despite the level of the river, which was already in the garden of the hotel, the general manager and his team worked hard to remain open. Just as well because it really is delightful. Comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and we had dinner on one night during our 2 night stay which was well presented and delicious. Nice to be told that chef uses fresh local produce. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back!

What can I say, we look forward to seeing you next time you visit. Room 9 has just been refurbished along with most of the rooms in the main house. The convenient location makes it a great place to stay and with breakfast included and complimentary parking and Wi Fi the best value in Worcester

My son and his, now, wife, held their wedding reception here on Ist March 2014. The bride, bridesmaids and mums stayed on the Friday night and had a suite of four rooms with a common lounge area, overlooking the river. It was ideal for the wedding morning for hair, makeup, etc - there was even a fridge for the champagne! Many wedding guests also stayed on the Saturday night and were equally complementary. We were fortunate in having a dry and sunny day which meant we could enjoy the outside as well. The hotel is in a beautiful position on the river and the outside areas are a delight. The function room was beautifully dressed and the food was excellent. The bedrooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast in the conservatory was perfect and the bacon, sausages etc were top quality and well cooked. The staff were brilliant and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The bar was well stocked and the real ales were excellent. Cannot fault this hotel and recommend it for a wedding or just a weekend treat.

A nice place for lunch.

Would just like to say a big thank you to Steve and his Staff for all their hard work keeping the Diglis open during the floods in Worcester.

The Diglis House Hotel is our favourite Wednesday lunch "spot". We have been going to the Hotel for several years now, it is not only a fabulous location but the Staff and service is second to none. The young lady in the bar, Kate is exceptional ... she always makes us feel "special" with a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble for her ... a credit to the Hotel.

Stayed one night on 15/2/14 for my husband's birthday. We were worried about getting to Worcester due to the floods however Anne from reception sent us travel directions and we breezed to the hotel no problem - thank you. The flood water was very high and the receptionist informed us on arrival we couldn't use the conservatory which was a shame and certain beers were not working due to the cellar flooding earlier in the week. We had room 4 in the hotel lovely views it was interesting watching the flood waters and to see how much debris there was floating down the river. The room itself was spacious nice bay window it just seemed a little dated but in keeping with the build I guess. It was an eclectic room cant really put our fingers on what we didn't like our taste is perhaps more modern but the bed was very comfortable to sleep in. One problem was the heating it was on all night and the room was too hot leading us to have a disturbed night which was a shame The bathroom was modern and clean but the shower was not that powerful. We had drinks before we went out last night and these were reasonably priced cheaper than in Worcester. Breakfast today was tasty lovely sausages!! just would of liked the toast at the table rather than doing it yourself as it was a slow toaster...... Staff friendly in the hotel. We got back to the hotel after being out last night at around 11pm and the front door was locked we had to wait some time after ringing the front door bell to be let in and were conscious of trying not to wake others in the hotels by ringing the bell. Would like to go back in the summer when we could sit out and enjoy the views in the garden its such a shame to see it flooded. Parking is a bit tight we opted for parking in the visitors parking rather than at the front of the hotel in case of more rain but it was fine.

Room Tip: ask for a river view

Thanks for your review, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay, because of the flooding life was a bit more hectic than usual. We were determined that the floods wouldn't affect the quality of service. Sorry about the heating if you have any problems on your next stay just call reception and they will do there best to help.
The hotel in the summer is the perfect place to enjoy a meal or drink and enjoy the view
