We originally went to Worcester to see the porcelain factory unfortunately it has closed down but next door is the pottery museum, there is an entrance fee but it's worth paying especially if you like history and pottery, there was a professional gilder on hand to show you how it is done, there are also guided tours via handsets, a very worth while visit, and just up the road from the Whitehouse hotel.

Well presented and interesting exhibition of Worcester pottery throughout the years. Lovely to see an artist at work too painting on the intricate artwork onto a cup.

I was overwhelmed with the intricate and delicate detail of many works which had been displayed, some to VIPs. At only £6 per perwon and audio guide, worth the money. I did think the shop could've had more general souvenirs as magnets, post cards, stationary, confectionary as a lot of other crockery manufacturers have in. museums.

Simply stunning collection of Royal Worcester porcelain over two floors. Excellent audio tour; full of information giving the history of the factory, the making and decoration of the porcelain. One of the best audio tours we have ever listened to. A well laid out exhibition. Staff friendly and informative. Bonus of the visit was meeting Henry Sandon of Antiques Roadshow and Royal Worcester fame popped in for a visit. Such a lovely gentleman! This place is a must visit on your list when in Worcester.

We did the audio tour of the two storey museum. Some wonderful pieces and incredible workmanship and the commentary was also an interesting social history. Took maybe 80-90 minutes.
