A fine museum with attentive staff, even met Henry Sandon ( the distinguihed Worcester porcelain expert ! Lovely fellow, no airs and graces.)

Bought a beautiful 3 tier cake stand, cost an arm & a leg!

If you have an interest in pottery and in particular Worcester pottery, this museum will fascinate you. It is well presented and a very comprehensive history. There is an audio tour included in the admission price which I found invaluable - it bought the collection to life in a way information boards and signs couldn't. I must admit to not having a particular interest in pottery but despite that I enjoyed my visit.

We really enjoyed the tour, seeing china from circa 1740's to present day, get the head phones to listen to the stories, we spent 3 hours walking around. Worth the £3 entrance fee.

My friend and I planned to see this centre as part of our weekend visit and were very disappointed with what we saw - or didn't see. The pottery displays were interesting, as one would expect, but that ws it, nothing else. The blurb on the place told us we would see craftsmen at work and we would be able to make a plate, which we were looking forward to doing. When we asked where to go to see pottery being made, we were told that that part of the tour had ceased ion 2008. So why is it still advertised online?

Excellent display of top quality pottery > Pity the factory is still not in production . A great show of what we used to have in Worcester
