On the plus side this hotel has a fabulous location next to the river... and that's about it. The room we had hasn't had a revamp since the early 1980's and the bathroom could be used in some kind of retro museum. Not what I expected from an hotel charging £80 odd a night.

Went on Group on voucher for 1 night stay with a friend. Room overlooked the river with large shared balcony. Fab views. Room and beds was comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was lovely. If you want cereal and orange juice its an extra £2.00.
We had dinner on the evening and was lovely and prices were very reasonable indeed. Lovely relaxing atmosphere in bar and lounge area and we sat by the log burner on some comfy sofas enjoying a friendly conversation with staff member Jo. Definitely would go back.

My husband and I stayed at the lenchford inn for two nights, 7th and 8th December, it was excellent value for money, lovely location and very friendly staff, we ate in the restaurant Saturday evening, the food was lovely, after going out shopping on Sunday we returned for lunch, there was a party of about 40 people eating, but the manager found us a table, and the Sunday Cauvery, was probably the best I've ever had. The only downside to our stay, was the bedroom, we had a four poster bed, the room was spotlessly clean and so was the bed linen but it was a bit dated, but we will defiantly recommend this to our friends, and maybe return in the summer when we can enjoy the lovely views outside

My husband and I stayed at the Lenchford Inn last week for a 2 night break, booked through Groupon. To be honest, we weren't expecting too much, as the 2 nights only cost £69 in total for bed and breakfast for the 2 of us, but we thought it was worth a try. How wrong we were! The hotel is beautifully located on the banks of the River Severn - an idyllic, peaceful setting with swans, ducks and an assortment of wild birds. We were shown to our downstairs room by Ian. We were very pleasantly surprised by the room - plenty of space with a double bed and single bed, a TV, free Wi-Fi and an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. The bed linen and towels were beautifully presented - clean, bright white sheets which were totally crease-free. Even some of the bigger hotel chains we have stayed in have greyish-coloured and creased linens. Not so at the Lenchford - everything was just right. It was so good to see that pride had been taken in the presentation of the room. Although we originally intended to go out for the evening, we decided to eat at the Lenchford and then spend the rest of the evening in the bar there. We were not disappointed. We sat in easy chairs by the log fire in the dining room whilst waiting for our food to be cooked. I had liver and onions which I must say was the nicest I've ever tasted. My husband also thoroughly enjoyed his chicken meal. The deserts were also to die for - very tasty indeed! After the meal, we spent the evening in the bar, where we joined in a game of bingo (happy to say that I won twice!). The pub was not very busy, which was a shame, as it has such a warm and friendly atmosphere. The following morning, we tucked into a full English breakfast, which again was excellent. We decided to eat there again on the second night and, yet again, were not disappointed. Breakfast on the 2nd day was equally as good as the first. All in all, we were both delighted with our stay and definitely plan to return some time in the New Year. It was amazing value for money - in fact we don't know how they can do it for the money we paid. We would certainly recommend the Lenchford to anyone planning a stay in the Worcester area. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. Thanks to all at the Lenchford for making our stay so enjoyable. You will be seeing us again soon.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the downstairs rooms which have been refurbished.

We stayed here for 2 nights for work. A lovely small Inn with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Comfortable room with a lovely view of the river seven. Extra big fluffy pillows, warm and great facilities. Breakfast was lovely home cooked and considering we didn't prebook the owners were very accommodating and friendly. High recommendation. Homely stay. Thank you.

What do you want from a hotel room? A good night's sleep clean sheets and towels, warmth, good facilities in the room (TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee, en suite with bath, toiletries, versatile lighting, balcony) a view (of the river Severn) friendly and obliging hosts, a decent breakfast, value for money. For us, the Lenchford Inn ticked all the boxes. Beyond that, you could be picky. The room was a bit tired and there were one or two little quick maintenance jobs that needed doing. There was a £2pp supplement for fruit juice and cereal at breakfast. (Not the money, just the feel of it). We didn't eat in the pub, but it's a nice, friendly establishment, and people were enjoying the food, the atmosphere (children and dogs were welcome) and decent beer. All in all, we had a great stay, thank you.

Like so many previous reviewers we were at a near by wedding. The "Lenchford Inn" was close by and so easy for us but some reviews put us off. Wrong!! One of the hosts,Dave, welcomed us and was in every way first class. Our room was fine with a wonderful view, bathroom a little dated, but I don't go in to view. We ate there, the food was fine and the really pleasant waitress listened to the word "Rare" and so did the chef, pleased. Value, excellent.
Go again, certainly.
By the way, we own a B & B

Room Tip: All rooms have a river view, please yourself.
