Excellent above and beyond service. Everything was catered for and Wendy and Dave were 100% with us every step. We booked the room for me and my girls the night before and they day went perfectly because we had no stress or hassle. The food was top quality and we needed nothing because they had thought of even the little details too. Everyone had fantastic evening. I will be always grateful for their excellence.

We stayed for two nights B&B on a Groupon deal and guess this I how they may fill the place during the week, although very petty restrictions/extra charges for Groupon guests!

Positive:
Marvelous location and outlook over the river Seven.
Lots of riverside seating.
Large Car park

Negative:
Very amateurish owners & staff attitude,
Our bedroom and en-suite was only tidied – not cleaned,
No chairs in Bedroom,
Thin Foam mattress,
No afternoon tea of any kind available!
Extra charges for breakfast cereals, fruit juice etc.

Terrible restaurant service even though only a whole total of 10 diners, it took on hour’s wait for a soup starter (after I chased) then another twenty minutes for main course that was basic quality/presentation (Bribed with offer of free wine if we were to dine on our second night!) we walked out!. We were so disappointed that we luckily went to the FANTASTIC pub/restaurant called Red Lion only half a mile down the road and enjoyed some great food & wine, excellent service and atmosphere at very reasonable price!!!

Overall, because of its location, we may stay again but only with a Groupon deal and would always eat out! Defiantly not risk any event such as a party or wedding etc. there! Great potential being missed as needs much higher quality knowledgeable professional ownership/management who would know what they are doing.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view!

20 of us stayed at the Lenchford Inn for my Mom's 60th B'day. From start to finish the staff could not do enough for us!
The location and scenery is so beautiful and the Hotel itself is full of character and warmth.
Each bedroom has scenic views and has an open balcony; I can imagine this to be lovely in the summer months.
The food was amazing and even now my partner salivates over his Lamb Shank!!
Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!

My partner and I had a 2 night stay here on a Groupon deal. It was £68 for 2 nights B&B, although we paid an extra £10 per night for a room upgrade.
As others have said the Lenchford Inn is situated on the banks of the river severn, and our room (4) had nice river views. The room however, was quite old fashioned and in need of refurbishment.
The bathroom was quite ghastly circa 1970's, again in need of updating. Not particuarly clean, but on the positive side the room was spacious and the four poster bed was quite comfy. There was a lack of hot water on the first morning and the plumbing seemed to be a bit noisy.
Breakfast wasn't bad. A full English and cooked to order. We also ate here on the Saturday night and the food was average and took an hour to come.
If you get a good deal and come with low expectations, you probably won't be disappointed.

Lovely location and very welcoming. Riverside location stunning, with the room overlooking the Severn. However, the lack of running water for the bath/ shower was disappointing.
On the day we arrived (Sunday), no food was being served so we had to go elsewhere.

After a very cold morning on the boat we stopped here for lunch. The staff were very friendly and inviting, we were allowed to take the dog in and the food was superb. Good value for money and a lovely setting. Will be returning. Thank you
