Owner description: Malvern Theatres is proud of its standing as a leading centre of artistic excellence in the West Midlands. Since opening as the Malvern Assembly Rooms in 1885, it has undergone many changes and is now home to two theatres and a cinema, boasting an impressive range of critically acclaimed theatrical and cinematic productions. The 850 seat Festival and Forum theatres regularly host world class touring plays, musicals, operas and ballets and have become a hotspot for pre and post West End productions. The Forum, along with our recently refurbished 300 seat cinema, comes equipped with the latest cinematic technology to enable live screenings of productions around the world. The theatres are run by the Malvern Theatres Trust, a registered charity, dedicated to ensuring the success of the theatres and maintaining the building for future generations to enjoy. By choosing to visit us you are helping to ensure that this much loved theatre remains part of the community for many years to come.

We've been twice now in 2013 - Woman in Black and Blues Brothers. Both times the venue and staff have not disappointed. Seats and temperature were comfortable. We haven't eaten here so can't comment on that. Ice creams and bags of sweets are expensive. Bar prices were OK. Lovely to walk out the back of the theatre on the grass on a warm summer's evening. We booked our interval drinks in advance. Toilets are clean. Parking is an issue though. Both times we have struggled to find parking. That hasn't put us off. We are planning on returning......

We are now regular visitors to Malvern Theatres, which is surely one of the best facilities in the area. Great programme of events, reasonable prices, comfortable seats. And at the back is the wonderful park. Local [excellent] restaurants have 'pre-theatre' meals too. Check out the programme and get down here for a great night out.

Malvern is so lucky having this marvellous facility offering a truly eclectic mix of mainstream and contemporary theatre, dance, music and film and chldren's theatre. PLUS screenings from the Met, Covent Garden and The National Theatre. Many pre-London plays pass through Malvern on their way to acclaim in the Big City, Internationally renowned orchestras and soloists delight audiences with familiar and not so familiar sounds. And the spoken word appears in tales from explorers, scientists, entertainers.......The latest films come to Malvern as well as mornings devoted to old and classic favourites both in English and sub-titled. And all thanks to the Manager Nick Lloyd! And you can eat there too in a very trendy bistro. And on a summer's evening walk through the wide glass window doors from the theatre in to the Victorian Park. You MUST go!

One of Malvern's star attractions. The theatre is centrally situated and looks out over an area of beautiful parkland with a lake. There are a variety of events daily throughout the year. Prices are very reasonable. In addition to the conventional events there are broadcast performances of National Theatre events and other very high quality productions. There are bars and a restaurant with pre--performance dining. Excellent.
