Stopped for lunch on way to stay at The Malvern Spa, I had looked it up on the good pub guide website. Lovely traditional style pub with log fires and a great atmosphere. All tables were full at 1pm and we could see why. Great selection of real ales and ciders and an interesting lunchtime menu. A great experience.

If your in search of a typical country pub then this is your place! A huge selection of ales to choose from! Quaint nooks and crannies to tuck yourself away in! Log fires and a great little restaurant! Well worth a 'frequent' after a gentle amble over the Malverns!

This is a terrific pub, with a great selection of good ales - and excellent food at lunchtime. The menu is interesting and has local delicacies as well as pub staples, the service is unobtrusive and quick and the quality is extremely good. The pub's ambience is friendly and relaxed and there are plenty of quiet spots where sensible conversation can take place. Highly recommended.

This pub is everything you want. There are numerous ales to choose from, my husband counted 11 on tap, a great atmosphere, mixed age range, plenty of seating inside and out, it is dog friendly, has outside heaters and oozes with character.
We had dinner and it was delicous. Duo of Pork is succulent, generous in size and a real good balance of flavours.
The service is friendly and attentive, particularly in the bar area and they make the best liquer coffee.
If you are in Malvern Link you would be crazy to not eat here but do book ahead it is very popular.

Came for dinner with a few friends and the pubside was packed with people absolutely fantastic atmosphere. There was a great selection of beer and ale on tap and the choices are also great. We were then seated in the restaurant side with was much quieter and cozy, there was an open fire and the tables we sat on had benches that was clearly salvaged from a church. I had the duo of pork - braised belly and pigs cheek, and i didn't order any starters as no one else seemed to want to; it turned out to be the right decision because the side dishes were of hearty portions.

Great restaurant, great pub.
