We came to Ashbury for the bank holiday weekend and were eagerly anticipating our stay at such a highly rated B&B - and it definitely lived up to its reputation. Graham and Karen were so delightful, the room was lovely (we stayed in the green room) with an amazing shower, and all of the personal touches kept us smiling all weekend. Even though they had just returned from holiday the morning we arrived, they still managed to have fresh homemade cake for tea, fresh homemade bread at breakfast, and homemade oatmeal cookies in the room waiting for us - which we devoured. It was the perfect accompaniment to a weekend of hiking. Thank you both - you really have made a 'home away from home'!

We booked the Ashbury last minute through Late Rooms, and we were so lucky as Graham and Karen had a cancellation about an hour before. We were visiting friends close by and the majority of the weekend guests were camping, but that is not for us. The Ashbury was perfectly lovely. The room was so comfortable, fresh and clean, the décor was tasteful, delicious homemade biscuits and spar water on the hospitality tray. We had a lovely breakfast, the bread and marmalade and jam was all homemade, a lovely touch and so delicious. We only stayed the one night but we both wished it could have been longer as we were so impressed. Graham and Karen were delightful hosts, it was like staying with good friends. Can't wait to make a return visit.

I stayed here for 5 nights whilst my daughter played in a cricket festival this July.
Although i found it difficult to find in the dark and pouring rain (no sat nav) Graham patiently guided me ,via a crackly mobile, safely there and we were immediately made to feel at home.
Very comfy bed and linen and a quiet location ensured good nights sleep! I think i managed to work my way thro the menu during the week and a delicious and generous breakfast stood me in good stead for the long days of cricket watching ahead! Then even if i was a tad peckish on my return.....there were fresh tasty, oat cookies to enjoy with a cuppa. G & K were kind, helpful and attentive and i would wholeheartedly encourage anyone to stay with them in their clean cosy home!

I was born in Malvern so know the place well. The Ashbury is new for me (& Christine) and I must say I found it excellent. I particularly liked the excellent conversation, the good books, the association with the past with all the old photos, which are genuine, and the homemade cookies in the bedroom. My only slight criticism was the bed in the downstairs was on the squeaky side. I did like the large shower room. I am a regular user of hotels for business.
