“Christmas in Great Malvern 2012”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013

My boyfriend and I stayed in Graham and Karen's warm and welcoming B&B for a week. Our stay was delightful as the Ashbury is next door to my daughter's flat. We stayed in the green room, which is tastefully decorated and most comfortable. Loved the bathroom and crisp white linens. My sister and brother-in-law will be visiting my daughter this spring and plan to stay at the Ashbury as well. We had a memorable time and will stay here whenever we visit Malvern. So enjoyed my cup of tea and oat biscuits every night!

Room Tip: Our room was very quiet and it faced Cowleigh Road...and larger than most hotel rooms.

My daughter and I were given a very warm welcome and was a marvelour introduction to my new life living in Malvern. I would strongly recommend this b&b and when I receive more visitors than I can accommodate, I shall certainly approach the Ashbury for rooms.

Mr Ellway-Bell was so helpful in giving advice on the area and services available and I am very glad that in fact the b&b is my next door neighbour!

Thank you very much

Helen and Caroline Romain

I stayed here on 1 Dec with friends. We appreciated the great welcome (tea & cake) after a hard day shopping in Worcester! The rooms were spotless, very comfortable & tastefully decorated. The breakfast was lovely with home made bread, plenty of choice & excellent coffee. This is a lovely property and having the off road parking was a real bonus too. I would highly recommend this B&B.

A very warm welcome received on arrival with tea and cake.
We stayed in the Green Room which was tastfully decorated, comfortable and very clean.
A very good choice of food for breakfast plus home made jam, marmalade and bread.
We will be going back when next in the area.

We stayed here for a night and had a very positive experience. On arrival we were greeted with a very friendly manner from the owners alongside a piece of home-made lemon drizzle cake and a fresh pot of tea. There are three rooms, we stayed in the Green Room which was home-from-home, very cosy, clean and welcoming. Amongst the welcome pack, informing us of many places to visit, was home-made oat biscuits and fresh Malvern water. The breakfast, which was arranged at our convenience, was delicious with plenty to chose and more home-made goodies, this time the bread and preserves. The full English kept us going all day! Thank you Graham and Karen for a very pleasant stay - we will definitely be going back, taking the family next time.

A warm welcome on arrival-a very comfortable nights sleep- a first class breakfast-parking off-
road which is not common in Malvern-a genuine interest in our events during our stay creating
a home from home atmosphere. The rooms were tastfully decorated and as clean as a whistle.
What more could a pair of travellers want ! We would certainly recommend The Ashbury without
hesitation.

Room Tip: A ground floor bedroom was ideal as we are both moving on in years!

Stayed here during a walking weekend. The perfect place to return to after a long day in the outdoors. The owners were extremely welcoming and the rooms were spotless and tastefully presented. The beds were very comfortable. The best thing, however, was the breakfast! Fresh fruits, quality ingredients, and views over the surrounding countryside. Hope we can return soon.
